New Year Resolution Mistakes

Im sure most of you will have already thought of your New Year resolutions. Maybe the same ones you promised yourself over and over again previously


Why the same ones? Well we all go into it with good intentions, but usually we fail before we really get going


And its not down to your lack of will power if that’s what you think, but normally due to these mistakes:


1. It isn't specific enough. Wanting to "get into shape", "lose weight", "get ripped" are all generalisations and don't you a measurable goal for tracking progress


2. Not having a support network. Trying to make change for the better is always tough and going it alone carries a much lower success rate


3. You dont have a plan. And usually the culprit for failure. Saying you want to do something is all well and good but not having a plan to get there would be like driving to an unknown designation without a map


4. Your WHY isnt strong enough. Why you want to achieve this goal should be important to you. If it isnt, then adherence to any kind of plan, will be low or non existent
